It is vitally important that our tutors know how to teach, redirect, get back on task, understand how to teach a child that may not want to learn or has had a bad day. Do you have at least 1 year of sped teaching experience?*

Our clients are all over the world and different time zones. That means that a client may want tutoring at 2am where you are but it is noon their time. You choose your hours, days and weeks that work best for you but those that are flexible may have more opportunity to get more teaching hours. This is a tutoring position which has zero benefits, guarantees, insurance or retirement. Both you and Special Needs Tutors may dissolve our working relationship at any time and for any reason, without cause or warning. You are considered an at will employee and responsible for paying your own taxes in their entirety. The ask is that you have a quiet area, free from distraction, clutter in an office type environment. You will be asked to utilize a virtual background that has our logo so to minimize student distraction. Do you have a stable computer with secure and good internet access and will to utilize a virtual background?*

Clean appearance is very important. Our ask that, while in front of our students, each tutor’s appearance is clean, groomed, professional (no smoking, cursing, etc) and presentable. We will provide 1 logo t-shirt which is to be wore, clean and free from stains and wrinkles. If you need additional t-shirts, you may purchase them, at your cost, through our vendor.
